Kindergarten ACTIVITY 3 - Mouse House Surprise General Description Students and teacher will join together in a shared book experience. The teacher will read aloud from the big book, Mouse House Surprise. The students will join in on the repeated pattern. The class will then discuss what happens when the power goes off. They will discuss the following ideas: What goes off in your house? Is there another form of energy in your house besides electricity? (Batteries, gas, etc.) Objective Students will explore and illustrate the path that electricity takes from a power plant to the inside of their house or school.
